APA 4 | APA 5

Instructions

USE THE APA PUBLICATION AND STYLE MANUAL, 6TH ED. APA Format Assignments: PurposeTo familiarize students with some of the many details of APA format, the instructor provides exercises to help you understand and use APA format correctly. Complete these exercises.WHAT TO DO / WHAT'S DUE:Two Documents to be revised (APA 4; APA 5).  Several versions of each assignment are uploaded to the files attached to this order.  Pay attention to the files listed as graded and apply the course feedback.  Do not remove the instructions.  Don't just write your own essay.  The files listed as Blank are editable. Follow the instructions carefully and type right into the document, begining with APA 4, then moving onto APA 5.  You must do APA 4  correctly to be able to accurately identify the margin of error in APA 5.  Identify and rewrite underneath the incorrect statement in APA 4, leaving the original text for future use.  When done with APA 4, you will see why in APA 5.  NOTE that they both use the same passage but are an investigation into completely different grammatical errors in APA formatting.  Use the APA Manual 6th ed.1.  APA 4  - Passive Voice2.  APA5  - Verb TenseA ).    APA 4 2017 & 2018 use APA 4, keeping the corrections from the professor, to do APA 5.  Find the APA 4 from the first time this course was attempted and ask the writer to be sure to compare them to develop a more accurate active voice and ensure thorough identification of passive voice statements.  This is important to note here, that the instructor requires an additional step that student failed to do, one must identify what is wrong (do not just delete the incorrect passage here and replace it like student) somehow, leaving that inaccuracy on the page for identification purposes, and then one must add the correct way to write the statement in question.  Additionally, do not remove the directions, leave every sentence, identify the inaccurate ones by marking them clearly and consistently.  Leave the passive voice statement in the document, then rewrite the statement in active voice, adding additional sentences to the passage, NOT replacing them.  Make sure that the statement means what it is supposed to mean, i.e., communicates the same message that the passively written statement was meant to convey, when one corrects said statements into the Active Voice format.  So, to recap, there are two APA 4 file uploads to be fixed here.  APA 4 has only one set of instructions detailing how the instructor wants the passively written passage deconstructed into an active voice, i.e., APA format, but rather than just writing a whole new passage, one will identify passive voice sections, whilst creating a space direct y above or below each instance to include the addition of the Active Voice way of saying the same statement.  The meaning that the additional section need convey must be the same meaning that any original passive voice sections were designed to communicate.  Please do not just rewrite the whole passage, and finally dont forget to leave the instructions in the document.  No cover page will be needed here.      Make sure to compare both versions of APA 4 for the instructor guidance and follow any direction provided as such.  Ok, great.  Once you have satisfied the passive voice components of this assignment, taking great care to leave each statement in tact in the document, you are ready to move onto APA 5, and APA 5 is what this order is all about.  APA 5B ).  All the great care taken to leave the grammatically errored statements whilst adding active voice statements, rather than rewriting the passage in APA 4 in to a passage completed with active voice only, will become clear now.  Once we have found the error of my ways with APA 4 (please upload the document to the file uploads here, at this point, for as you will see I did very poorly trying to find the passive voice myself both times I attempted not to fail this course.  I will try to turn APA 4 assignment, hopefully correctly active voice, into my course instructor, in addition to the APA 5, in hopes of recovering a couple points.  NOTE:  UPLOAD APA 4 AND APA 5 ASSIGNEMTNS BOTH are different assignments that deal with the same passage.  APA 5 deals with another hot topic and often confused format with APA, past tense.  The American Psychological Association Publication Manual and Style Guide, 6th edition (see file uploads for quick referencing), has become steadfast about using present tense, past tense, and future tense when technical writing in APA format.  There are different rules for writing in first-person, when writing in third-person, or writing in second-person, please refer to the 6th ed. Of the APA manual for specifications and follow closely to the topic of APA 5, which is when to use PAST-TENSE and when it is not appropriate when writing research in APA format.  You are using the APA 4, with the correct Active Voice Statements written alongside the original grammatically passive and incorrect original passage.  Again, do not remove any of the instructions, leave the details provided.    Leaving the original passage helps make heads or tails of the verb-tense in each section of the passage, and looking at the original passage, going back to the original whilst further correcting the passage will better enable us to catch each of the hidden mistakes.  If you change the point-of-view of sentences to change them from passive to active in due diligence for APA 4, you will see the increasing difficulty of finding and perhaps creating statements with verb-tense mistakes.  YOU MUST REVIEW THE RULESS IN THE APA MANUAL FOR VERB_TENSE TO COMPLETE APA-5.  THESE RULES ARE NOT THE SAME AS BASIC ENGLISH GRAMMER.  THIS IS NOT CREATIVE WRITING, AND THIS is not an essay.  We are finding passive voice in APA 4, Identifying each occurrence within the passage and then provide the correct active voice within the same passage, being sure that the active voice statement revision is directly near the original passive voice statement.  Once each passive voice statement has been correctly identified and you are confident that I wont find additional passive voice any longer in the APA 4 assignment without its correlational active voice companion statement, then check the passage for general spelling, grammar and upload this assignment before moving onto working onto the 5 assignments.  If you read all these instructions and do this work out of fixing APA 4, given that you have been availed corrections the student presented for grading in two separate instances, gibing way to the writer being able to get a thorough understanding of what this work encompasses.  By combining the corrections written by hand in the scanned in copies of PA 4, making sure not to repeat my countless errors in both attempts, one is able to see that the instructor-provided feedback provides the writer with the answers and corrections that APA 4 is cleverly hiding.  Whilst, even with this instruction provided to me when the second APA 4 assignment became due and no sooner did I have both return to find that there are blatant inconsistencies between what the instructor marked the first time and tow what she marked this year.  Nevertheless, I am entrusting you to do this part right and do it right as quickly as possible, as I obviously made several errors to APA 4 twice, and this previous APA assignment is necessary to complete the next AP An Assignment, Apia 5.  Lets recap, so you need to carefully review the handwriting in both files named APA 4 and the instructions herein every document provided.  You must NOT remove said instructions/details/directions.  Leave the words that are written incorrectly, and directly below each incorrect sentence, with an empty space between them, use the APA manual to write Said passive statements into an Active technical writing, whilst having the same meaning.  Once each passive statement6 has an Active statement whose meanings are the same, you are to move onto APA 5, where you will work on the peculiarity of writing in APA format where writing in Active Voice rather than Passive Voice is hard enough, but when the student writer realizes that the point-of-view in which the story is told, along with the plurality of said point-of-view, or singularity of said point-of-view.  Point-of-view in story telling is most often first-person or second-person, or even third-person.  Third person accounts in writing may be plural, where the verb-tense usage must be changed to past tense.  Events written in first person are most often singular, i.e., I, me.  The second person narration may be both singular and plural when writing in APA format.  Follow directions, identify, compare, contrast, upload, move on, revise, review, reword, whilst leaving the original passage for easy referencing in the next APA Assignment.  If you have followed me this far, then you should have made easy detective work out of combining and deciphering the passive voice to active voice context requirements in the APA 4 assignment.  Henceforth, you must complete APA 4 correctly and the way that the instructor is asking for it to be completed to then be able to correctly complete the verb-tense work in APA 5.  Whilst this order is ultimately after that APA 5 work in verb-tense, the instructor requests that APA 4 be used to begin APA 5. Instructor wanted the corrections that she had made to be applied and that finished document with her corrections for APA 4 be the starting point for APA 5.  ZERO POINTS WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO DO NOT SHOW THEIR WORK FROM APA 4 AND use it to finish APA 5.  Therefore, upload a file showing both versions of this assignment.  Do not just start correcting verb tense as you would have normally in a primary grammar school situation.  APA 5 and APA 4 use the same passage, but they are searching for different things.  The point of 4 5 is to show authors that changing into active voice may lead to some fuzzy situations in terms of verb-tense with APA formatting, 6th ed.  Finally, most often, we change the POV or perspective of a statement to change it from its passive state to the active voice.  That is the KEY.  Knowing that corrections made in APA 4, where the easy thing to do is to change the passages point-of-view to change passively written statements.  Where passive grammar maybe avoided, grammatical errors of verb-tense become all the prevelant.  Please be sure to reflect such an understanding when showing your work.    Thanks.  FINALLY, CHECK YOUR SPELLING AND OTHER COMMON GRAMMATICAL MISTAKES AFTER YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU HAVE CHECKED, IDENTIFIED, AND ACCURATELY RESOLVED THE GRAMMATICAL MISTAKES SPECIFIC TO APA FORMATTING.

Answer

ActiveThe topics of distraction and performance have attracted numerous studies. However, the consensus is that many types of distractions affect performance even when people believe otherwise. According to Christine Rosen (2008), our society developed the term multitasking as a description of activities that are carried out under conditions of distraction.Multitasking began to make its way onto resumes as a job-related skill and thus became a positive term. Everyone seemed to be multitasking, and the increasing availability of electronic devices has transformed everyone into multitaskers. Rosen mentioned the growing number of accidental injuries that occur as a result of driving while using cell phones or other electronic devices, Rosen condemned this development.
