Practitioner research project - Leading People for Effective Learning The aim of your assignment is to design and carry out an individual research project based on your own research purpose and question. Your research will be small-scale practitioner research or inquiry that could involve you interviewing a small number of people, or administering a questionnaire survey to a small sample. Think of it more as a pilot study which you might wish to develop further for your dissertation. The important thing will be to keep a very clear focus for your inquiry.  Whatever you do should be fit for the purpose you decide on. The project might be done in your own workplace but need not be. In fact you might like to work in each others institutions and where possible across sector or phase (e.g. primary practitioners undertaking their small-scale research study in a secondary colleagues school).
