Instructions

Write a two page paper double spaced, 12 point typeGo to the World Bank website at http://www.worldbank.org/You are going to collect data from three very different countries for 1) fertility rate, 2) life expectancy, and 3) population growth (annual %). You are also going to create graphs of the data you obtain for the three countries.  The website will do this for you, if you click on the names of the three countries to select them.  You will attach the three graphs (for fertility, life expectancy, and population growth) showing the data from your three countries to your paper.  The graphs do not count towards the two page length. For fertility rate, click on one of the two following links.  The first link gives you the data by country in table form, and the second link gives you a map you can click on to get the data for a particular country.  Choose whichever method works best for you.http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.DYN.TFRT.IN?end=2014&start=1960&view=charthttp://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.DYN.TFRT.IN?end=2014&start=1960&view=mapFor life expectancy at birth, look at the same countries you chose when looking at fertility.  Do you see a trend?  Use the following links to find the data.  Like before, the first link is in table form, and the second link is in map form.http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.DYN.LE00.INhttp://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.DYN.LE00.IN?view=mapFor population growth (annual %), find the data for the same three countries using the following links:http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.POP.GROWhttp://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.POP.GROW?view=mapHow does the US stack up? (NOTE: The U.S. does not count as one of your 3 countries. You should collect the data and attach the graphs for the U.S.) What can you tell me about countries with the largest population growth? Can you categorize them? How about the three countries you chose? How do they stack up? Tell us why you think things play out the way they do?
