The condition has been confused with arthritis which should never be the case since it does not result in inflammation and damage of the muscles and joints. Instead, it is a rheumatic disease that causes pain in the soft tissues or myofascial. Therefore, it is important to identify the condition since it comes and goes which makes it difficult to diagnose. Pain may also persist for a long period of time. There are many causes of fibromyalgia and doctors cannot link it to one particular factor. Fibromyalgia can be caused by mental health issues, neurological disorders, or rheumatic diseases. Therefore, it is important to identify the possible cause of the condition for proper medications...
