Through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) the number of people with health insurance cover particularly low-income earners increased tremendously in the United States. According to Henry J Keiser Foundation (2018), the number of uninsured decreased from 44 million to 27 million between 2013 and 2017. However, the number of people who are uninsured is on the rise.
