DiagnosingInterview Synopsis: The interview was conducted with Barry, a psychologist, about his opinion on diagnosing and labeling patients. Overall, there was a resounding consensus that diagnosing and labeling patients is important, but it has drawbacks as well. Barry believed that the whole field of psychology needs to be rethought about, especially labeling patients. In as much as mental health labeling can save lives, it can also destroy them.
