Group Behavior TopicAssignment:Chapter 12 of your textbook discusses group behavior. The textbook describes how the presence of others affects a persons work performance in two different ways, through social facilitation (performing an activity in the presence of others), and through social loafing (performing an activity as part of a group). Performing an activity in the presence of others can lead to enhanced performance on easy, well-practiced tasks but can lead to inhibited performance on difficult tasks. Youll write about social facilitation and social loafing. Specifically:1.    Describe the three main theories of social facilitation: mere-presence, evaluation-apprehension, and distraction-conflict and the research supporting each.2.    Describe two examples from your life of social facilitation, one where your performance was enhanced on an easy, well-practiced task and one where your performance was inhibited on a difficult task.3.    Describe how social loafing can be reduced in a group. Talk specifically about at least one example from the textbook or class and then describe at least two other possible ways you think social loafing may be reduced in a group setting.Grading:Out of 100 points, you get:o    20 points for # 1 aboveo    5 points for # 2 aboveo    5 points for # 3 aboveYour paper should be no more than 1 page single-spaced or 2 pages double-spaced.
