Lab 1 (sieve analysis) took place on September 11 at 5:30 pm. The main objective of this lab was to perform the sieve analysis based on the lab instructions provided in the lab manual. The instructor asked students to keep the sand away from the sinks. The students were required to record data and calculate some variables to complete the sieve analysis.At the start of this lab, students were divided into two groups whereby each group performed the experiment and wrote their results on board.
