Proposing a Solution PaperThis paper will be a proposal:  an argument for a change that will improve the situation.  You will be writing about some problem that relates to technology either a problem caused by some aspect of technology or a problem that can be solved by using technology    Instructions: 1.    REMEMBER Canvas has resources about the Writing Process that you may find helpful2.    SELECT an issue that relates to technologya.    You will need to identify a specific problem related to technology, so keep that in mind as you investigate issuesi.    The problem you select could be caused by technologyii.    The problem you select could be solved by technologyb.    You will need to propose a solution to the problem that you select 3.    SELECT a specific audience that would be interested in this issue and create a paper that is directed to that audience4.    CONSIDER your Rhetorical Situation and how it will influence the paper you will be writing5.    RESEACH your topic and find at least 10 credible and reliable sources to use in your paper (these can be the same sources that you found while working on the Module 3 projects.)a.    You should use your research to support your papers pointsb.    You will need to cite each use of a source in your paper (APA style)c.    You will need to include an APA-style Works Cited entry for each source6.    WRITE a 2500(+)-word Proposing a Solution Paper that uses APA formatting and citation styles; your proposal should include:a.    Problem what is wrong with the current situation?b.    Solution what specifically do you propose as a solution to the problem?  Why is your solution better than other possible solutions?c.    Implementation how could your proposed solution be put into operation?  What would be difficult about adopting your proposal?d.    Benefits what good would come of implementing your proposal?  7.    After completing all of the Module 4 activities, SUBMIT your paper to M4.  Tips:      Remember, in your proposal, you will be arguing for a change.  You should have one specific plan, project, idea, etc. that you are proposing.o    you will need to convince your readers that a problem existso    you will need to clearly explain your solutiono    you will need to argue that your proposal is better than other options o    you will need to argue that your proposal will improve the situation    Be sure that your arguments are specifically tailored for your audience and your specific rhetorical situation.    Notice that the points below are not evenly distributed; you will receive more points for your work on supporting your focus and on citation issues, so be sure to devote sufficient attention to these areas
