Fidel Castro Revolution leads to Cuba descending to a communist state. Most of the Cuban population's middle class fled to other countries for fear of prosecution and what could be a dictator's regime. Cuban immigration mostly ended in an American state called Florida. The trickling down of migrants from Cuba had been happening over the years due to a lack of stability, the corrupt government, and the Civil Wars. In the 1970s, the high numbers of Cuban migrants in Florida introduced bilingual languages(Gonzalez, M. 2015). Cuban community-sponsored referendum to allow all services being conducted by both English and Spaniard language. This resulted in amounting to the pressure to the referendum of allowing bilingual.
