Personal Statement Firstly I have been brought up in a family where academic success was an everyday topic and I was influenced to want to make my parents proud. Anything to do with statistics has fascinated me, like solving complex issues in the field and application of statistical methods to solve emerging engineering problems. My interest in pursuing engineering sciences started during my visit to the farm where my father was working at and I felt its the noblest job I fit in.
