IntroductionThe pathways that respond to stress in the human body are cellular mechanisms that enable the body to resist the effects of stress. During stress, the brain hypothalamus made up of various nuclei connecting the endocrine system and the brain play a significant role. The hypothalamus signals release hormones that manage stress from the adrenal gland leading to increased production of cortisol.
