Char.BermThis is an amazing discussion. I agree with you that comfort entails caring and giving attention to other people when they are going through tough times in life. For one to exercise comfort, they must first understand the position of the other person and how they feel about a particular situation. Just as you correctly note, although most people can comfort others, they should grade the level of pain and suffering that a person is going through and seek help from professionals.
