Cholera and malaria are common infectious diseases caused by Vibrio cholera and Plasmodium falciparum, respectively. The causative organism for cholera may be found in dirty water or unwashed fruits. In contrast, for malaria, the organism is carried by the female anopheles mosquito, which releases the P.falciparum into a human host through a bite.
