Part 1Question 1I chose the artwork because of the authors detailed approach in presenting an emotion. I also chose it to show that caring entails being sensitive to the feelings of others. The artist was critical in the explanation of the emotion to the audience, without necessarily showing the facial features of the victim. The artwork is essential in showing the importance of empathy.Question 2The victim appears as being insecure about something. The comforters facial expression indicates that she understands what the other person is going through. The comforter does not depend on the words of the victim to perceive that she is going through a difficult phase of her life.
