Compare and ContrastThe two theorists, Piaget and Vygotsky, have several similarities as they both pursued developmental psychology. Their theories major in cognitive development from childhood to adolescents. Both Piaget and Vygotsky believe that cognitive development among children occurs at a faster rate in children who are active learners. That is also supported by the fact that children have to actively organize and synthesize new information while integrating it into existing information to establish understanding and achieve the state of equilibrium (Honderich & Heyward, 2019). Similarly, the two theorists believe that development and cognitive learning decline with age as most adults become reluctant to learn new ways or modern aspects that they thing may not add value in life....
