Describe at least one social justice concept underlying oppression and/or discrimination that you found to be most meaningful or impactful to you over the semester.  Was this a topic that you at first had difficulty understanding? Why? What did you learn about the topic and yourself? Address both cognitive and affective levels Below are some things that I want you to use in answering the questions.....PLEASE FOCUS ON POVERTY AND ECONOMIC INJUSTICES. It was most meaningful because I could relate because poverty exists around me.....my work (I work at Legal Aid) and my family.  The only difficulty I had with understanding why poverty exists is why? I learned that people who are impoverished at times did not have a choice.  If it is a minority who is impoverished it is a result of institutionalized racism that will create a barrier for them not to be able to receive services or opportunity. Please address all questions.
