Generally, there are four roots of Christian counseling. They are the theological, spiritual, biological, and psychosocial roots (Youtube, 2018). In my life, I have had various interactions with these roots. For instance, I often use the theological root when I need spiritual guidance from pastors and other Christian friends about various life issues that I face. The guidance helps me make God-fearing decisions and live in accordance with Gods word. In reference to the spiritual root, I often use it when counseling anyone that needs my help.
