Summarize the ethical survey in a paragraph and cite your source, using MLA work cited format at the end of your paper, just like what was required for the culture research paper. Investigate: Ask 20+ people (friends, family, coworkers, classmates, facebook friends, strangers) their opinion on your chosen ethical topic. Calculate what percent of these people are "for" or "against."Compare your survey results to the survey results found in the online opinion poll. Are the percents "for and against" similar? vastly different? Conclude: What conclusions can you draw between the two majority results? Physician-assisted suicide is one of the topics that is highly debated across the world. A study by Gallup conducted in 2018 reported that 72% of the Americans believe that physicians should be allowed by law, at patient and family request, to use a painless means to end the life of the terminally-ill patient (Brenan, 2020). From the study, 18% of the participants were against the practice. I conducted the same study among 24 of my friends and family members. My results were a reflection of those that were obtained in the Gallup study. From the survey, 16 participants (66.67%) reported that physicians should be allowed to end the life of a terminally ill patient.
