Liver CirrhosisLiver cirrhosis is the end stage of liver disease. It is caused by various factors, such as chronic hepatitis, infection, metabolic disorders, and chronic alcohol intake. Dietary control is required to meet nutritional needs for patients with liver cirrhosis. Generally, in liver cirrhosis, poor nutritional status may lead to poor prognosis hence increased mortality rates among patients.
