In chapter 11 we read about the psychosocial influences on physical health and disease.  Begin your discussion by describing your thoughts on how culture influences health, disease, and well-being.Next, spend some quality time as an engaged student researcher, scanning and skimming a range of appropriate online resources for relevant items that link closely with major topics in our text-based readings for the week.  These may be articles in major news sources (e.g., The New York Times or the Economist); good academic journals (The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed); blogs, podcasts, or RSS feeds; appropriate television or radio journalism (ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX NEWS, NBC, or PBS news; NPR, APM, BBC); or other online print or video sources.Post a link to the specific article that you have chosen as being the most interesting and relevant.  Provide at least one paragraph explaining to the class what prompted you to choose this particular piece of media and how it connects to the current chapters.  Be sure you have selected an article that represents topics being covered for the current week.
