Alan Mulally is a revolutionary leader that should be envied by whoever wants to take up any leadership position. While serving as the Ford CEO, Mulally understood the value of the employees and importance of motivating them. He adopted the equity theory to change employees culture and mentality at Ford. The equity theory is based on the concept that employees are motivated through fairness. At the workplace, if employees identify an inequity with their colleagues, they will modify what they do for them to achieve fairness. To avoid such cases, Mulally introduced the One For Plan.
