Please respond to this discusion And ask her one questionEbola is a deadly disease spread by air or by touch. This disease quickly moves and has killed thousands of people in a matter of a few months. A family of 5, in Guinea, Africa, died in a total of about 13 days. The first was a one year old boy, his symptoms started with a fever and shivers. The symptoms escalated to diarrhea and he stopped eating and in a time frame of 2 days the boy died. Shortly after, his sister got the illness and 9 days later she died. The mother had been taking care of her sick children and she eventually got sick. The mother also was infected and she was 7 months pregnant. The symptoms for her started as the same and eventually she started bleeding, enough to cover the house in blood. She had a miscarriage and died. The father did not get infected but lost his entire family. Three women helped clean up the house and they all died also. Then the outbreak started. The Ebola virus is said to start in Guinea when some of the local village kids found hundreds of bats in an old tree. They killed the bats with fire and bagged them up to eat them. Bats are known to carry diseases and Ebola may be one of them. From that many of the villagers had fallen ill and one had decided to go to a hospital to seek treatment. The villager had infected a nurse and from there as people move back to other cities, unknowingly, carrying the disease then infected other people. By the 3rdmonth, thousands had the Illness and may have died. Doctors had mistaken it for malaria and other diseases, many had not thought about it being Ebola. The country had experienced Ebola before but not this deadly and rapidly spreading. The government decided to clear out the option of investigating non-confirmed Ebola deaths. People that had not been confirmed sick with Ebola would not be looked at and this caused rapid spreading of the disease. The best treatment is to isolate Ebola patients. In the known effected areas, isolation and vaccine camps were set up. hospitals in big cities had become over populated with people and were only helping the spread of the disease. People that were not able to get into the hospital began rioting and mobs had been formed. The hospital should have been shut down and if it had, many lives may have been saved. Overall, this virus was not handled correctly and spread around way too long. Many lives were lost and people suffered, this should not have happened. R.I.P the people who died or the people who survived the outbreak.
