Your contract should indicate the name of your fictitious company and the essential terms of the use of the software.  You should model your contract after a real software license agreement.  The software user and party to the contract should be referred to as a licensee.  The program should be referred to as utility program. The header should contain onl  the date the document was drafted and the footer should reference the name of your fictitious company and the words: Software Contract And License Agreement in Title Case and must be flush left and in 10 point, Calibri or Tahoma font.  Also, the page number must be centered in the footer in any font and in any size.  The names of the term headings of your contract (see list below), are to be included as 14 point sub-headings and must be flush to the left, Times New Roman or New York font and in all capitals and bolded and in a font color OTHER THAN black:    1. Permitted Uses of the Application;2. Prohibited Uses of the Application;3. Warranties and Disclaimers ;    and4. Limitation of Liability of LicensorThese items should be numbered by using the automatic numbering feature of your word processor.  The contract verbiage relating to each term is to be in normal 10 point text in Arial Black or Times New Roman font with space and a half line spacing.  The actual terms of the four areas described above are up to you.  Again, it is advisable to base these terms on existing software license agreements.  This terminology will not be graded.  When the user clicks (or control-clicks) on the first term heading (Permitted Uses of the Application), he or she must be automatically hyperlinked to the final page of the document the signature page.Somewhere in the contract you should perform a hard page break and insert a small table consisting of three columns and three rows (not including headers) with the following field headers: Column Headers:  License NumberRenewal DateRenewal PricePlease fill in the headers with a background color of your choosing.  Each header should be followed by three rows where you are to enter license numbers, dates and renewal prices (for the softwares maintenance) of your own invention.  The tables cells should auto-fit to the contents of the data entered into them.  You should sort the table so the renewal dates are listed in reverse chronological order and that the price is totaled at the bottom of your table and right below the renewal price column.  After your table, two signature spaces should be placed at the bottom of the document, flushed right.  One should be intended for the Licensor and the other for the Licensee.  A space and signature line below each party name should be reserved so that each party can sign the agreement.  Below and evenly aligned with each signature line, the words DATED: must appear in 18 point bold of any font except a Courier or Arial or Times font, underlined and highlighted in any shade of green.  The signatories of this agreement will insert the date of their signatures upon executing the agreement.Below the signature line, insert an image of a computer (clip art or cartoonish images are acceptable).  There should be a watermark across all pages of the document reading DRAFT and it should be in a font larger than any other font located throughout the document.
