Reflection Paper: Hotel RwandaThe film Hotel Rwanda is quite emotional because of the graphic scenes that portray the magnitude of genocide that occurred in Rwanda. The character of Paul (played by Don Cheadle), is particularly touching considering that he manages to show the world how those who survived during the genocide had to use a combination of wits and limited resources to save themselves and others from death. What stands out is the power of the media in heightening political and ethnic tension between the Hutus and Tutsis.
