For this assignment you will be conducting a meta-analysis research paper that will be comparing and contrasting two of the family therapy theories: Family Systems and Behavioral--Focus on the following elements when analyzing the theories:-Assessments-Goals for each theory-Therapeutic techniques-Major concepts, principles, ideas, etc.-Role of the therapist-Strengths/Contributions-Weaknesses/Limitations-Appropriate populations, disorders, presenting issues--Based on your exploration of these two theories, which one do you feel you would most likely use when working with your clients? Why? What made this theory stick out to you the most? Do you think it would benefit your clients the most?--The paper should conform to current APA edition style and format. Individual papers will vary in length, but, in general, your paper should range between 15 and 20 pages (including the title page, abstract, reference page, etc.).--Be sure to include between 7-10 references. Here are some suggestions for researching the theories:-Textbooks-Professional journals-Books-Interviews with family therapists that use the theory (if you do so, be sure to use proper APA citations for personal interviews)
