Why cant we be happy?It is amazing to note that each day all human beings are in a rush to attempt and fulfill their desires, pleasures, and instincts. All this are done in a bid to gain happiness and fulfillment. Peoples desires differ from one individual to the other although a few desires like sexual pleasure are common to most individuals. Surprisingly, it is always not easy to achieve all the satisfaction and be happy. Sigmund Freud in his book Civilization and Discontent explores some of the reasons as to why human beings can hardly be happy through his theories.
