Healthcare InformaticsResponse My response to the assertions made by Dr. Sweet is a negative one and opposes her argument against efficiency. The notion of slow medicine has once been the dominant approach to treatment at a time when technology had not taken over the healthcare industry. At that time, efficiency was not a variable of concern to the healthcare practitioners. However, the results of this approach to medication were totally poor hence begging for the focus on efficiency in the treatment of patients.
