Anthropologists coined the term "Chicano Movement" to define a period of ethnic liberation and agitation by Americans of Mexican origin that began in the 1960s. Essentially, the Chicano Movement effectively achieved several changes, including the establishment of diverse structures in the West, improved operating standards for foreign employees, the hiring of Chicano instructors, and offering a chance to those of Mexican origin to seek votes.The peaceful campaigns led by Cesar Chaves and Dolores Huerta, in my opinion, were the most successful.
