AbstractAny act that is contrary to a countrys laws or legal code is a crime. Hate crimes are a form of crimes that are based on prejudice. Individual hate crimes are a source of potential conflict because they tend to escalate in terms of both numbers and levels of violence (Gerstenfeld, 2017). As such, there is a need for the responsible law enforcement organization to understand and take firm measures to stop the cycle of violence.
