Among the many people are Fredrick Douglass and Sor Juana Ines. This paper details how each of the two, strived to achieve freedom using writing. Fredrick Douglass fought for freedom using writing mainly through the content he wrote. He criticized the idea of having slaves in America. In fact to him having slaves on America was a paradox.
