PsychologyBefore attending the psychology course, I had various beliefs and thoughts which some were just myths. I thought psychology was only focused on reading people's minds. Also, I believed mood swings were key signs of bipolar disorder. However, while attending my first lessons, my perspective was changed. I discovered psychology was not just reading people's minds but also dealing with behavior influenced by our surroundings or genetic composition. The first chapters of the course were not what I expected; they were different. I expected a direct introduction in studying how peoples brains operates.
