Women voting rights John Adam was a Unites States congress during the 1870s. The congress house is based in the capital Washington DC. The means of communication during his error was through writing letters. John's wife, Abigail, wrote several letters to the husband, and the famous one was the "Remember the Ladies" letter. In this letter, she pleaded with her congress husband to influence the congress to consider women's rights, views, and interest in the next laws they would pass[1]. The husband dismissed the extraordinary laws request but his wife and viewed the ideas as a laughable joke. Various perceptions influenced his decline to offer women rights.
