Set up an interview with an HR manager, preferably from an aviation or aerospace-related company to discuss how the company addresses social equity efforts in their workforce management strategy. If you do not have access to an aviation or aerospace firm in your area, select a company that has a number of different skill sets within the workforce manufacturer, service provider, logistics, etc.A few things to consider for the interview:Not every company has an actual workforce management strategy and may use company-wide processes or procedures. Just make sure to find out how the company recruits, retains, and develops employees. Ask if the company is experiencing difficulties with filling certain positions.Social equity may not be a term the company utilizes, so be sure to explain that you are interested in how the company reaches out to potential employees and motivates current employees.Remember, for recruitment, the company may target specific demographics, institutions, or other places for job seekers. So do not be dismayed if that is the case, and simply record the information.Create a short paper (1-2 pages) on the results. Include a short background of the company, and craft the paper as an executive summary.
