Watch the film "Se7en" and write an essay on the following topic:The two detectives in the film Se7enSomerset and Mills---have different personalities, which result in different approaches to solving the serial-killer murder spree they are investigating. Write a 900 to 1,200 word essay in which you compare and contrast these two detectives. Does the film suggest that one of their approaches is better than the other?

It is clear that both the detectives are determined in their work. This is when one looks generally at what they do both at an individual level and in the serial murder cases. Somerset is scheduled to retire, but still has the energy and the drive to do more work as seen in the serial murder case. Mills on the other hand has that drive which shows a person who is very determined to do his work very well. At no point was any sort of laxity seen from his side as he was there always helping his partner in the case.The other trait which they both have is that they are very cooperative to each other. This can be termed as cordial but the fact that they are willing to put aside their differences for the purposes of works shows a desire to cooperate so as to achieve that good work record.
