In this class, we are learning to analyze the creative work of performing and to considerhow different performances of the same work can actually change how audiencesunderstand that work. Choose a work that has been performed multiple times (e.g. awell-known play, beloved piece of music, a film that has been remade) and compareand contrast at least two (but no more than three) versions. Discuss the impact ofdifferent storytelling approaches, and the extent to which they change the meaning ofthe artwork.
