4.1 Research Design

Please read and follow all directions for this assignment. it is very important. I attached a copy of my research paper (you MUST read it so you will know what I am researching) this will be a qualitative case study. I attached a copy of an example paper (please use this paper to help you to complete this section ( the example paper is a generic qualitative study, my study will use a qualitative case study). I attached some copies of some qualitative case study reading to help you. please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information to complete this assignment. This section should be three (3) paragraphs.  (only write 3 paragraphs no more)    The first paragraph will provide an explanation of the epistemological, ontological, and axiological philosophical assumptions that support the research methodology.     The second paragraph will provide a rationale for the specific research design or approach.  Then explain how the particular design is best suited to answer the research question guiding this study.    The third paragraph will briefly describe how the study will be conducted and include brief statements about sampling, data collection, and data analysis.  Later sections of the research plan will address details about these areas.  Reviewers will be using the following criteria to evaluate this section:Section 4.1 1. Are there three paragraphs? a. The first paragraph should explain the underlying assumptions (ontological, axiological, and epistemological) for the specific methodology (qualitative or quantitative). Each assumption (ontological, axiological, epistemological) should be defined; the assumption for that specific methodology should be defined, supported with citations. The second paragraph should discuss the selected design in more depth than what was discussed in 2.4. It should not be cut and pasted from 2.4. c. The third paragraph should discuss the details of the design (sampling, data collection and analysis method) in more depth. The rationale for why these are appropriate for the design discussed in the second paragraph should be discussed, supported with citations. 2. The focus here is on explaining methodological decisions and supporting that discussion with citations; detailed procedural information is provided in section 5. Detailed rationale for the sampling is discussed in section 4.2; detailed ethical issues (informed consent, etc) are discussed in section 4.3.
