Descriptive Statistics The human heart rate in males and females is typically different where it is associated with the size of the heart. The average heart rate in males ranges between 70 and 72 beats per minute. In females, it ranges between 78 and 82 beats per minute. The smaller the heart size, the greater the rate of heart as illustrated in women.
