You will be engaging in a role-playing discussion. You are members of an advisory committee to President Abraham Lincoln who was recently assassinated. Additionally, should the federal government have some role in taking care of the long-term injuries of the Confederate wounded and/or provide Confederate veterans with some type of pension in the same manner as Union soldiers? Please be considerate and sensitive when discussing this topic as it is one of the more contentious discussion topics of the semester.
