1. How do the cultures values relate to the conflict?The Greeks vs Persians 490 442 BCE is one of the greatest wars in history. The war can be attributed to the differences in cultural values between the different regimes. The cultural differences revolved around the forms of government that Greeks had compared to that of Persians. For instance, the Persian empire was known for not giving its subjects similar freedoms unlike the Greek leaders (poleis). Most empires during the time in the region were also against Persian rule. The Persians wanted to expand their territory and stamp their culture of dictatorship.
