The concept of Diaspora has significantly affected my social life and personal decisions in equal measures. In the case of social life, the movement from my original location to the current setting meant I had to begin the process of establishing new acquaintances, friends and schooling. Typically, individuals prefer a setting, where they are familiar with and can easily integrate with the surrounding (Gurer). For instance, forming new friends as part of acclimatizing with new surroundings was a hectic problem because of meeting these new friends, studying their behaviors, establishing whether you are compatible before agreeing to be friends.
