The National Geographic video presents interesting concepts about the universe. One of the outstanding concepts is how the suns energy is a source of life on earth. The sun is one of the stars whose surface temperatures are extremely high. The temperatures cause surface material to melt and burn. It is this energy that is dissipated to other planets such as earth. The shocking part of the video is that the sun through its electromagnetic waves supports life and that the strength of the electromagnetic waves is gradually reducing (Youtube). The presenter projects that one day the energy in the sun will reduce to an extent where it cannot support life anymore. He then describes the sun as a god that gives and takes away life. It was also shocking to learn about comets that revolving in space...
