Where is your position on this debate? Should the heads be returned to China as an act of remedying cultural theft?Peoples cultural heritage should be respected and so is the intellectual property of their culture. Cultural theft is a concern that is greatly denying some cultures the credit they deceive. In the case of China heads, I strongly support the idea of returning the heads to China. The Chinese community is not benefitting from revenue that is obtained by tourists who come to see the heads. Individuals who house the heads also could not be having sufficient knowledge about the history of the heads and why they are treasured in the community (Setijadi).
