we have to choose three scholar article last decade to analysis them, write about how authors have said what they say, not what they said. We are analyzing how they use features of the genre (citation, modality, meta-discourse, etc.) to make new knowledge. I have attached a file the prof told us to read(hyland). We are asked to use the IMRD format(also posted). The prof also talked about hedging a lot. We have to use supports from other experts to prove out three scholar articles. The form and situation might help, the Hyland file is also welcome to be used as a support.
