PLZ BE PROFESSIONAL...EVERYWEEK, WE HAVE A MODULE, HERE IS THE SUMMARY OF THIS WEEK MODULE, SO U CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS WEEK'S LESSON IS ALL ABOUTSUMMARY OF THIS WEEK'S MODULE/LESSON:Module 8: Proposing the Strategic PlanIn the previous module, we explored how to develop relationships when considering the scholar practitioner approach regarding your business area of interest. Whether research is scholarly, practitioner or both, the best research project must be based on a thorough literature review (background material) of already published peer-reviewed, trade publications, other credible literature coupled with subject matter expertise in the topic of interest.  As you progress throughout the DBA program, you will be introduced to the fundamental components of research including the literature review, applicable research methods (quantitative, qualitative or both) and other practitioner components to contribute to your final research project in your selected area of interest.  In the final module of the course, the focus is on briefly exploring literature (provided in background material and external research) to propose a plan on how you will incorporate the strategies mentioned in module 7 for your area of interest.  Feel free to save the background material just in case it becomes useful to you in later courses and or your doctoral research project.PROMPT:1a. In the previous module, you proposed brief narratives on how to implement strategies and to get buy in from the stakeholders. For this TD, create no more than a 1 page outline for your proposed strategies. In the outline, state the topic and then your bulleted strategies.  Below is one example:Overall Vision-- Incorporate web-based training to Group A, in Dept. 2 to increase awareness in ________.Strategy 1Present proposal to CEO, board members, etc.References (here you can add the references you may need to help assist you with this strategy)Strategy 2Provide cost benefit analysisReferences (here you can add the references you may need to help assist you with this strategy)For each strategy you propose, you should have at least one credible article that will provide support for the specific area you propose.  Keep in mind that trade publications are also relevant for scholar practitioners.This TD will assist you in preparing for your signature assignment as well if you take time to create 3 4 strategies and provide supportive references.  Keep the outline simple, and for your own use, add the page numbers to your references.  Attach your outline within the discussion thread.1b.
