Question 1Some of the factors that promote sex trafficking are poverty, political instability, and militarism. Out of these factors, the one that I believe has a greater influence is political instability. Generally, unrest results in the displacement of people. Children who run away for safety during the unrest eventually expose themselves to vulnerability. Perpetrators then take advantage of their vulnerability and traffic to areas where they are assaulted sexually.
