Mariah Robertson: was born in the 1970s in Indiana, travelled to California and settled in New York. She creates photographic without Cameras by a process she refers to a repertoire of chemical reactions which she stumbled upon the technique by accident that she then decided to perfect ("Mariah Robertson - the-artists.org", 2018). The chemicals she uses for her images are leftover chemicals assumed only to create a mess. She uses metallic papers in a dark room, temperatures and varying light intensities to create different pieces and colors (SCOTT, 2021). The images that result are incomplete or complete chemical reactions captured at a specific stage.
