Prospects for Performance Management I believe that it is possible for the governments to regularly end the cycle of creating performance management reforms instead of coming up with performance regimes. This is because the new reforms in performance management are similar to the past reforms. In addition, present reforms can be linked to research conducted in the previous century (O'Neill, 2014). Hence it shows that the governments can create performance regimes that will have a longer life span than temporary reforms.
