After searching for recent (i.e., last five years) articles published in peer-reviewed journal articles (i.e., library journal database or Google Scholar) on the following general topic areas, choose a general topic for your research project. What general topic area interests you? Then, based on the articles you find published within your general topic area, select a specific sub-topic related to your chosen general topic area for your research project. What specific sub-topic within your chosen general topic area is a "hot topic" in the current literature? Submit your general topic area as well as the specific sub-topic to the dropbox in Word format. Lastly, make sure to always include identifying information (i.e., name, etc.) on any submissions to your courses!General topic area: QUALITY ASSURANCE AND PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENThis presentation is to be a mock Board presentation of your chosen topic and why the board should chose you/your topic for funding/further trials/research/etc. This is a realistic situation that some of you may encounter in your careers and you should be able to discuss healthcare topics in a public forum, such as this. Using presentation software such as PowerPoint, create an executive-level presentation "to the Board". Goal of the presentation: based on the information submitted in your essay, "sell" the Board on why your topic should be supported for implementation.Must contain a minimum of 4 content slides (i.e. not counting title and reference slides), no maximum .
