Deaf for a DayThe deaf-for-a-day experience was daunting. The wax and earbuds were inserted into my ears a few minutes before the lunch hour. I knew and prepared for this experience, yet I could not settle or comprehend the deaf experience. Particularly, the silence, which struck immediately was very unsettling.
